The NCSU Apiculture & Beekeeping Program, led by Dr. David Tarpy, is renowned for advancing honey bee research and promoting sustainable hive management. Dr. Tarpy’s work provides valuable insights into colony health, genetics, and beekeeping best practices.
His studies emphasize the link between scientific research and practical strategies for improving bee survival, helping apiarists build resilient colonies and adapt to current environmental challenges.

“Our research uncovers the complex factors behind bee colony survival and offers practical solutions that empower beekeepers to protect pollinators for future generations.”
